Montreal Opens First-Ever Curry Bar For Real This Time

Montreal is quite the entrapranoor, nowadays! We’ve witnessed a quite impressive amount of bars, restaurants and stores OFFICIALLY opened by Montreal herself! How inspiring!

Now it’s Hochelaga‘s turn to have a taste of Montreal’s great ideas. Located on Ontario Street, in the heart of the heart-warming district also dubbed as “HOMAMA“, Boustan has officially opened its doors for the whole world to have a taste of the FIRST-EVER Indian-Curry-Themed experience! Yummy!

Get your chopsticks ready, my bros (and also girls)! Indian-Curry-Themed restaurants are known to be spicy, or something! We don’t know. It’s not like we checked. Leave us the fuck alone! We took the info off Google Reviews! We usually require people to sign legal papers for sole proprietorship of their kidneys for us to make such a nice article! 10. Café-X,
Concordia university’s Hall building, 7th floor

Café-X is a student run, non-profit coffee shop that’s all about coffee, arts and not money. That’s THE place where you’ll find great vegan and gluten-free muffins and a good cup-o-joe for very little money or food stamps. Bring your own mug and you’ll get a fill for 1$, leaving you plenty for a pint at Reggie’s later.

9. Tim Horton’s
Concordia university’s McConnell (library) building, ground floor:

Let’s face it, the library building is the place to be! And when you need coffee stat (that’s a medical term that means quick or fast), Timmy’s there for you! Hungry for a donut? Got it! Hungry for a chicken sandwich? Look no further! Hungry for a donut AND a chicken sandwich? Hey mister (or miss), they’ve got it all! We LOVE Tim Horton’s!

8. Java U
Concordia university’s Hall building
Lattees are the best, but the trillest are caramel-pumpkin-chai lattes, and Java U’s got them! When you’re studying for that cultural studies exam and you need a boost, J-U’s got you covered. And if you feel like you’re done studying, it’s THE place to hit Tinder! *wink wink*

7. Ciociarro’s sports Bar
52, Saint Viateur

If you’re looking for a real AUTHENTIC Italian coffee place in the Mile-End, head over to the corner of Clarke and St. Viator to Ciociarro’s. They probably make the best coffee on St.Viatuer. It’s also a great spot to catch a habs game or any other sporting event! (We don’t know what Ciociarro means in english, sorry. Let us know!)

6. Starbuck’s,
1233, Greene avenue (Westmount)

We’ve all been craving a good large caramel machiatto while window-shopping on Montreal’s best shopping avenue, haven’t we? Fortunately, there’s Starbuck’s. They got your coffee and your wifi so you ca

4. Café Myriade
1432, Mackaye

If you love 3rd wave coffee as much as we do since 2009, you’ll love Café Myriade. Plus: it’s close to school. Minus: that coffee’s strong, add lots of sugar!

3. Café Campus
57, Prince Arthur

We haven’t tried it yet, but everybody’s been telling us to go there for the good stuff since we got here last semester. We put it high on the list because it’s a classic Montreal student institution.

2. Tartarie Rockaberry
2880, bldv St. Charles, Kirkland

Chad’s number 1 coffee spot near his parents’s house! We tried it and it’s defiantly up there with Tim Horton’s for best coffee ever. Their pies are so good too (tarterie means pie place in French). It’s a good spot for a date, keep that in mind.

1. Bugrundy Lion
904 Sherbrooke West

That’s THE spot near McGill university for a good classic 3rd wave coffee. They have espresso, fancy drips, japanese things that make coffee, scones, and lattes. The only deception is that they don’t have large caramel-pistachio macchiattos.
